A Little About Me

I’m an SEO consultant and manager with over 22 years of in-house and agency-side experience in technical SEO and online marketing.

SEO, done right.

I’ve been passionate about SEO and digital marketing since the late ’90s when I helped a friend set up their business online. Using Dreamweaver, I created my first website and promoted it with tips and tricks I picked up from forums, newsletters, and various websites.

That website, and the knowledge that I’d gained creating and promoting it, won me my first professional SEO role in 2002, working for a B2B publishing house.

I started off as a junior consultant but was soon promoted to a senior consultant role. A couple of years later saw me take over the Online Marketing Manager role where I led the group’s search engine marketing team, supervising daily operations and managing up to six direct reports alongside offshore staff. Here, my team managed SEO strategy for 150+ B2B and B2C sites across various business units, collaborating with business heads and stakeholders to define strategies. I remained in this role until the end of 2012.

From here, I moved through a couple of SEO agency roles before joining Ayima in 2016, where I have the privilege of serving as one of four SEO Directors.

I oversee SEO strategy and delivery for high-value clients, lead pitches and kick-off meetings, and ensure strategic alignment. As the senior point of contact, I built strong client relationships and provided strategic advice. I develop and execute integrated cross-channel SEO strategies, enhancing client visibility and performance. I also design and deliver training sessions, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.

This journey has shaped me into a well-rounded SEO specialist with a deep understanding of technical SEO, strategy development, and team management. My passion for SEO and commitment to excellence drives me to continuously learn and adapt in this ever-evolving field.
